Some firms charge for a DRO, there are plenty who will do one for nothing! So, don't pay..
No-one is allowed to charge for acting as an intermediary. The fee is £90 and paid via Post Office or Payzone using the barcode they supply.
That's a minor point but I thought I'd make it - the rest of the stuff here seems accurate.0 -

if i apply for a debt relief order would they check back through my accounts? and if they do how far? also im a signatory on my 4 year old sons savings account, would they count his savings as an asset?

An account in your son's name is not your asset.
