Fishing - car theft claim rejected

    I'm aware of that, but the theft was commissioned following a domestic dwelling burglary. The fact the keys were fished is irrelevant in this; it's still a burglary.

    Name and shame the company.

    Thanks to everyone who has posted on this topic. We reported the incident to the police and have a crime reference number. The insurance company (fronted by a well known English film director) haven't said that they will not pay up but my wife felt that their line of questioning was leading in that direction.

    With the advice provided we will be able to mount a much more robust rebuttal. I will post the outcome.
