Phone calls from your bank?

Doesn't that therefore mean that when the bank asks the question and the caller spits out the correct month, they can only be confident they are talking to you or someone that knows you? It certainly opens up the possibility of being impersonated by a work colleague, for example. So how useful is it to ask the question in the first place, given that anyone with access to your phone is likely to know your month of birth?ShelfStacker wrote: »If they can give you the day and year of your birth, I think that's a pretty sure bet that they know you.0
