A '' Lost '' Postal Order

About 7 working days ago i was sent a postal order which still has not reached me i should have got it by now so i guess that somebody at the same adress as myself has stolen it .

How can i find out if the postal order has been cashed by somebody that it does not belong to ?

Sorry to hear this.

I would contact that actual department to check on this.

Do you know if this was sent by recorded delivery, I would ask them and ask for the ref number which should track down where this was sent to, good luck.

It probably was sent by recorded delivery and sgined for by somebody who then probably cashed it

How can i find out if it has been cashed or not , and how easy is it to cash a postal order that is not in your name

I don't think it would be that easy as to what I know of they would have to provide extra evidence to cash this in.

But if recorded you can track this down as it should also be signed for, ring the company who sent this and let them know you have no received this yet and are concerned.
If this was cashed in they would possibly be aware of this.
They should also track down where this was sent to, in case it was sent to the wrong address, they would know it was not you who received this.

Does the person who sent it have the counterfoil? This is how you track whether a PO has been cashed, all the stuff about recorded is just flim flam in this case.
