For sale sign

I want to sell my house without using an estate agent but I need a for sale sign. All the local sign companies seem quite expensive - can anyone recommend an on line supplier?

Many thanks

I seem to remember one of the DIY stores B&Q etc selling them a few years back. Think they was about £20 at the time.

There are a few on sale on ebay, on average about £25 inc p&p (do a search for "for sale board"). Not the most fantastic designs, but they're bold enough and they'd do the job!

I recently sold a house with a couple of local ads in a papershop window, I thought it was worth a try for a month and it paid off - literally! to the tune of around a £2000 saving.

Why don't you do one yourself.
A trip to B&Q and you could get the materials for a tenner. Place some adverts in the local paper/cornershop as well, maybe place some flyers and have a open day.

Steal one and then modify it? If you want to feel less guilty about it, look for one of those blantant advert for the estate agents 'Sold' or 'Let By' signs.
