The HD box only costs between £10-£15 per month with Telewest with no up front fee. It has three tuners (1 for watching and 2 for recording) and a 160gb hard drive. Not quite as good as Skys but still damn good. So if that's what it's going to cost with Sky I know who I'd rather be with. Plus you can get £40 cashback by going through quidco.0

As I'm in an NTL area, Telewest aren't much use to me anywayThe HD box only costs between £10-£15 per month with Telewest with no up front fee. EDIT: Just went to the NTL website to check out their HDTV offerings, only to find out that NTL and Telewest have merged this month!

Some of those bigger TVs were absolutely phenomenal, but too big for our lounge, sadly
Even the 42" size is pushing it a bitThanks to all who post constructively.

you think that, but it's not. I have a big tv but now I just want bigger, size does matter0

Yes, you're probably right. We had been toying with the idea of a 20" LCD TV too, but having seen the 20" models in Currys alonside all the 40+ inch models it was obvious that a 20" LCD would be swallowed up, even in our little loungeThanks to all who post constructively.

Not all electrical items are covered. They didn't cover my DVD Recorder or my new (home) phone.
This is a summary of what they cover and it says Tv's up to 39". http://www.nationwide.co.uk/pdaroot/ccard/warranty.htm I feel though that they may have exclusions on this too due to the cost of repairing some types.0 -
Re Nationwide, wish I had knew this before buying our LCD telly, my Father also bought one too!0

What excuse/reason did they give for not covering your DVD recorder, do they have a detailed list with proper terms and conditions somewhere, that particular page on the site is very vague0
