Please can someone help. Has anyone come across a reasonably priced printer that doesn’t cost a fortune in replacement ink cartridges. I don’t need anything fancy – just something that would cope well with sons' college assignments, letters and the occasional photo. Thanks very much, I appreciate any response.

buy epson or canon - avoid HP and lexmark as they usually replace the print head with the cartidge and are more expensive to run
Oh and buy non epson rplacement cartridges or refill yourselfTANSTAAFL !0 -

Genuine carts are not badly priced but search around icompatible nk cart suppliers on the web or eBay and a full set of 4 can be purchased for 310 - £14 .

Shammy, I tried your link but it says "Sorry but your connection to our site has been terminated." Could you give me some more details of the printer you mentioned.
Thanks.Serendipity13

I have had two Epson printers and in both cases I found that the print heads clog, I tried most cleaning methods but in the end they both ended up bined. I then bought the cheapest Canon at the time an i 250, what a brilliant little printer I printed 30 10x8 inch full colour wedding photo's and still had ink left over. Ebuyer sell Inkrite replacement cartridges which are silly cheap"Imagination is more Important than knowledge"0
