spending + transfers on barclaycard

Hi all,

I have balance transfers, spending plus cash withdrawls on my barclaycard and i am only paying the minimum at the moment but hoping to increase payments asap.

I am wondering how i could get this debt in order . i cant apply for another card as i tried last month with no luck.

i have a citi credit card with a balance transer on it at 0% and not spending on it so that is ok. i only have £600 ish avaliable credit. they only gave me £2000 to start with and that was over a year ago.

can anyone suggest any options.

May I ask which provider turned you down?

i think it may have been RBS but cant actually remember now, got so much going on with looking after my daughter of 5 months.

Is it possible to move the Barclaycard balance to a 0% balance transfer card in your partner's name?

Meanwhile, I'd concentrate on paying off as much as possible each month. Clearing this debt ASAP will reduce the interest you pay and you'll be building a better credit history in the process.

ok will have see if i can transfer to my husbands name. he hasnt got a credit card at the moment. thanks for the suggestion.
