We went in April and stayed with Thomson Afresco at the Sanguli Campsite. It really made our holiday, the mobile home was outstanding and so was the site. You are next to the beach and Salou is a 20 min stroll away. The campsite is brilliant. I can't say enough good things about it. I'm so glad we didn't stop at a hotel or apartment. The children loved the site. Read the comments on trip advisor.

If you do want a hotel however, I booked my sister a 4* half board in June thru Thomsons Hotels for 265.00 for the three of them. The Golden Port Salou. With the cost of food because of the euro and the age of your children this might be a wise choice!

But if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
'Cos love is free and life is cheap As long as I've got me a place to sleep
Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more

Do you mean somewhere decent to stay ? Or somewhere decent to visit ?

Also, if its accomodation you need, what budget ? What basis, self catering, Full board ?

a good place to stay is on the port adventura theme park or a hotel near by, these are all modern hotels built in the last few years, the hotels nearer the beach are older,
if you stay in a theme park hotel admission is included and so is the water park, look in fist choice, thomson, thomas cook brocures
