Stopping text messages on BT landlines

BT somehow think we want to receive SMS texts converted to voice mail on a landline.

I haven't opted for this service, but received a very unpleasant message this morning that I didn't want to listen all to all the way through.

It's taken me a long time to find out how to contact BT and turn this facility off. To avoid anyone else experiencing this, here are the details:

Ring BT on 0800 587 5252
This will offer you the option to change the curfew times for receiving text
If you select option 1, changes are allowed
Option 5 then stops all future texts being sent

(I presume this is in BT's online help somewhere, but I couldn't find it)
