I have Avira Anti Virus. When it catches a virus, it gives you several possible ways of dealing with it eg. Quarantine, Delete, Deny etc.
Which is the safest way of dealing with these virus, so they do not come back
Thanks in anticipation

I haven't got Avira , but i would presume that Delete would be the best way.Peter: Hey Lois... what's this word? Lois: Evil. Peter: And this one? Lois: Knievel. Peter: And this one? Lois: Was. Peter: And this one? Lois: Born. Peter: And this one? Lois: In.

Quarantine. It LOCKS the virus but keeps it on the hardrive. The virus cant do any harm as its locked and you can also RESTORE it in case its actually a file thats needed or was a false positive
When your completely happy to remove it (Id suggest waiting a month or three), THEN completely remove it:idea:0 -

If you keep getting viruses id suggest a scan with MALWAREBYTES and maybe a HIJACK log so we can see whats running ~
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW')
http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
UPDATE and FULL SCAN
Post the log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
reboot
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click DO A SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE (Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log):idea:0
