Mine is years old and it has never occurred to me that it would flower as I always thought it was grown for it red leaves in Spring (provided it is pruned correctly. Having said that, allplants have some kind of flower but I have never seen one on a photinia. My choisya is full of scented white flowers right now.0

Nope, never seen any on mine either, or on my neighbours which are about 6 years old and HUGE. Are there different species, because I've only ever seen 'standard' and 'little'?0

Not too sure here but I think photinia flower on old wood so pruning to get the red leaves probably removes the next years flowers. Either this or they need to be mature or potbound.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
