DS has gone on his school trip this morning, and DH has gone along as a helper, so I won't see them again until Friday afternoon.
You might remember my MIL has to have urgent surgery for cancer just over a week ago? It was thought it was pancreatic cancer, but it turned out to be cancer of the bile duct, so she had the gall bladder, bile duct and part of her liver and pancreas removed. She's making brilliant progress though. When she's feeling better DH is going to talk through her options - he doesn't want her living in South Africa on her own any more, so she either has to come and live here, or go back to Cyprus where her brothers and various nephews and nieces are (which will make it easier for us to visit her).
Went to see the new Star Trek film last night courtesy of my friend. It's brilliant!!!! If you are a fan of the original series then it's a definate 'must see' - it introduces all the original characters and shows how they met and became the crew of the Enterprise.0 -
