DS1's comment was - this looks like it was thrown together in 5 minutes. Like all of you I thought what a load of twaddle, it gave no new information and as I pointed out to DS1 it has to be of a level to be understood by all levels of the community.

I'd declutter it, you can always ring NHS direct if you need to know something. I haven't got one yet. Feel left out. But, in defense of the gov't (which I don't do often) these leaflets are aimed at a very wide range of people, including people whose first language may not be english, so I guess they have to use easily understandable language

Have done windows (boyfriends sticky pawprints grrr), wiped out fridge, dusted TV, and cleaned oven (well one of the trays is still soaking).

    Two stars please Soappie

PenPen they grow so fast, was it RE today? I hope she does well. Does she plan to return to sixth form or is she off into the big wide world?

Dinner eaten, ankle a bit sore now so leaving the clearing up until later, off to get DS3 ready for bed.

Hear hear Sarah - that's what I thought but YOU put it so succinctly :rotfl:
DS1's comment was - this looks like it was thrown together in 5 minutes. Like all of you I thought what a load of twaddle, it gave no new information and as I pointed out to DS1 it has to be of a level to be understood by all levels of the community.
    How tactfully put....

Flying wise I have washed up and swept the kitchenm floor.

Glad to see Pigpen posting - and sending vibes (mine are the ones on top, obviously, cos they're the last:o) for Toots...
Thanks for the comments re the CC - a no-brainer really, as I was paying £15 per month interest and earned less than a fiver LAST YEAR in interest... but I still had to take a deep breath. Still better to have not much 'put by' because I can build it up now.

Well done Soappie for stepping into the breach there...
Well done Boddy on your voluntary work...hope you enjoy it
And am plotting to pop down to Essex ...
see you tomorrow night, hopefully, for take off...
