Well that wasn't too bad considering it took best part of an hour just to do the washing up (OHs job!) and find the worksurfaces to clean em!

Back from my run...did 5.48 miles (to be exact:rotfl:)! Have cooled down now so ready for a hot bath although I have just realised I've not had tea yet. Ooops! Might just have a bowl of cereal or something. Very naughty as I should be eating lots of carbs this week ready for the run on Sunday. Think I might make a big pan full of curry for tea tomorrow so I can fill up on the rice.

A big welcome to all the newbies. Hope your first week goes well.

Off to run my bath as I plan to be in bed by 10.30pm.

    See you in the morning.

You've all been so busy today that I've forgotten what i was going to say to you all...

so hugs, healing vibes etc all round, and welcome to the newbies & returners

Pigpen - I know nagging doesn't work on you, but please don't risk kidney damage.

    Toots, Quillion & L-L - hope you're feeling OK

Abbie - glad the scan went well and the baby was showing off for you!

soappie - sounds like you're making the most of your freedom!

jo - well done. Hope you're feeling OK now. It's going to be tough, but it will gradually get easier.

I was a bit rushed this morning, so only managed a 10 minute swim - but at least I got there! I also remembered to go to the new office, which is surprisingly nice. I have to remember to go to the old office tomorrow, as I have a meeting there in the morning

Went to the gym on the way home (it's so much easier from Staines than from Windsor) and did an hour's CV (8 mins walk, 2 mins run, 5 mins walk, 5 mins stretch x2, then a final walk/stretch session) followed by a coffee and a chat with a friend.

I saw my mentor this morning who is very encouraging about applying for jobs elsewhere - and told me about an ex-colleague who is now working for one of the companies I'm interested in, so I contacted him via linked in and am having a chat with him tomorrow. I also spoke to someone else who is going to let one of the companies know I might be available, and see whether they can find a contact at the company where applications have closed!

I also spoke to a friend briefly at lunchtime (she's a headhunter, so hopefully can help) who has been out of circulation as her DD has chicken pox (as have the rest of the children at her nursery!). Caught up with another friend and have arranged and after work walk, and am also planning a 10 mile walk this saturday with the friend I saw after the gym!

Came home, ate supper, read the thread, so I now need to do my flying, get ready for work and then see whether I have time to make a start on my CV

Mozzy, the viewings situation sounds really stressful, hope things get better soon. I’m a carer, and have only been in the job since December. I feel so much better about things this evening. My stress is dying down now and relief is setting in!

Soappie, hope the ‘opportunity’ works out! Am intrigued!

Mummyof5 that sounds a bit weird, shame they didn’t let him settle in properly before expecting him to do stuff

Hugs Mumofjusttwo hope your Ex sees sense soon, somehow I doubt he will, he did leave you. But I hope you can sort something out for the kids

LilySue hope your DS gets better soon

Dusty hope your leg is better soon

    Hugs Cally

Flower hugs for you and your mum, sorry to hear about the dog. Sorry for my very unfunny comment earlier, hope it didn’t upset you. I feel really bad about trying to be witty at a sad time for you

    Oddjob hope you recover soon

    Welcome Muckypup

Kaz, that’s so funny about your DS and the cereal girl!

Boddy, glad your first day went well, it sounds like a great thing to be involved with. Is it voluntary work?

Valli, well done on clearing your card. That reminds me, I must change my sig.

GTX, eeek that’s early! I’m sure DD will have a fab time!

Well done Broomstick, you have done well today

Jo are you ok this evening?

Toots, Pigpen, Lady Liberty, Quillion and all other poorlies, hope your day hasn't been too bad, you have a good night's sleep and feel as well as possible tomorrow

The only flying I have done today is putting away washing up and dry washing. Have got a new load of washing ready to start in the morning. Plan to do as much flying as possible tomorrow.

    Night night everyone xx

    WELCOME NEWBIES!!!!!

    - Well done on the cards :T:T

My HHC was expanded into what.. an hour and 10mins :rotfl::rotfl: BUT I've done loads including all the washing up and my kitchen (as long as you don't look at the floor) looks like my old Anthea standard :dance: AND even more shocking I have a tablecloth on my dining table  I haven't had one on there since erm...Christmas? :D:rotfl::rotfl: Plus there's a freshly dealt with bunch of flowers in a vase on it :D Not much to some people, but with the way things have been like in this house with my procrasting this is an improvement ... athough I was procrasting over my assignment instead :o:rotfl:

I also made a light reflecting thing out of a tissuebox & some foil ala gardeners world for some poor sunflower seedlings DD brought home from school - leggy is an understatement  So they're now on the window sil in the kitchen in the hopes they'll improve.

I wonder what I'll end up doing? There's a storeroom that needs sorting if needs be... and ATM thats a lot more appealing than spending the day between two classrooms :o
