It wasn't a lot just over 1K but costing me about £15 a month in interest so I have chucked my meagre savings at them in true MSE style which is effectively boosting my savings by £15 per month - at the rate of interest I was paying out about 55 times what I was earning in interest on the savings! So put to much better use. Thanks Flower and Sarahshattered for giving me, albeit unwittingly, the final push.

Top, top news Valli - well done you! :T:T

And Boddy - don't blanch at the thought of the press. Just buy a folder and label it 'fame file' and tuck it away for your grandchildren to wonder over in years to come.

Anyone seen Mudbath today? Is everything alright with her family? And how's our Piggers doing?

Chicken legs a la Soappie in the oven. I just used whatever was to hand - some onion, garlic, a tin of tomatoes, a smidgeon of red wine and some mixed 'erbs.

    Flying - I've washed up.

Very busy day at school, lost a free to cover the worst Year 9 class. Oh joy. Then a meeting after school.

I've been slumped over the pc reading the thread, and now feel much better! I'll do the downstairs tomorrow. I've taken a day off supply, as I need to take DD to the doctor's. (No nagging pigpen, but if you start being sick and your temperature goes up, that's the opportune moment to visit the doctor.Don't risk possible damage.)

:hello:to all the newbies, you're very welcome! If you find this week a bit heavy going, trust me it gets easier the more weeks you do. If you're struggling, concentrate on Level 1, maybe 2, and add a decluttering mission. You can't clean properly if you're knee deep in clutter.

Love and hugs to all my flylady friends!! Back tomorrow...

    Sweep and mop the floor
    Sort out sewing paraphernalia

    5. Take DD2 for first swimming lesson. She LOVED it!
    6. WM x 1 (so far)
    7. TD X 1 (towels)
    8. Hang out washing (2 from yesterday)
    9. Accounts
Haven't really done much else - oh I did clean the loos earlier!

We got a letter about our allotments. They want to get people on to them asap so there's a meeting on Wednesday night to iron out any last minute things. Trouble is DH isn't here so I don't know if I can go. Mind you the price is pretty reasonable £10 a year, plus for the first three years, £17 towards the water supply which is being put in!

My seeds are doing well - the tomatoes have now sprouted, most of the peas are up, one of the pumpkins is sprouting, the spuds are growing well and so are the strawberries. Nothing from the peppers yet, but I believe they take ages. I'll know for next year to start them earlier.

Had a phone call from DH (he is on a venture centre trip with the school and our DS). They were doing kayaking and abseiling today, and tonight have gone on a 5 mile walk! They do things like mountain biking and archery too, plus stuff like orienteering. Sounds like fun.

Right off to pick up DD1 from guides.

Thanks MOJ2 - She's not too bad, will give her a quick ring I think but don't want to upset her again... :( I was over the club today and was going to give you a ring, but the hour meeting turned into 3 hours and I didn't get a chance... I'll give you a call later in the week. Hope you're OK at the moment x
It would be great if Valli came visiting wouldn't it :D

I have just decluttered £5.38 to my PAD and about 100 emails from my computer, but not much else... am still very tired, must be stress, isn't it weird how things hit you?
