Sorry, but I don't think my teen- and tween-agers will buy walking and lovely views for a whole week...even NT properties are pushing it! Need some "cooler" ideas.....surfing beaches are good, rockpooling acceptable. Eden Project was wacky enough to be fun last time, too.

Think I may do what I did last year, hand the spending money budget over to them and tell them they can have it when we get home if they don't spend it on holiday!

Which area are you staying in?
Warning to all :D north cornwall is a no-no (Padstow/wadebridge end) between the 4th-6th June (Royal Cornwall Show) your be stuck in traffic for hours and hours, alot of the Shop's in Wadebridge will be shut "Gone show".
Going show is a must do at least once in a lifetime....but a nightmare traffic wise, no joke took me 45 mins to go the 5 min drive to the showground on a bike...

The show is really good, but agree completely about the traffic. I always walk up from Wadebridge, which is a bit of a trek but better than the traffic queues.

I think the beaches are the best bit and if they get into surfing, they will be busy for hours... otherwise Newquay is good fun for teenagers, lot of stag and hen parties and chaos, but fairly good natured. Flambards is good. There are more sports available on the Camel Estuary, but probably not cheap. there is a Bodmin steam railway, but again, that might be a little dull for them.

I think Cornwall is mainly free or expensive, with not much in the middle... Carter's bar in Polzeath is a good place for them to find other kids.
