How do I keep my netbook screen clean?

My little Sammy NC10 is starting to look a bit dusty with a couple of marks on it. So I popped into Currys yesterday & asked for screen wipes only to be told they don't have them anymore, apparently they dry up too quickly & scratch the screen
then they tell me they do a bottle of screencleaner that costs £20  Flipping 'eck I only want to give it a quick wipe! Does anyone have any cheaper suggestions, or is this a normal kind of price???

They have a very good tub of 100 in Poundland actually. The only annoying thing is its hard to fit them through the feed at the top, but work out ok. The liquid on the tissue almost instantly dissappears and leaves a really nice effect. I actually use them when I repair mobile phones for customers. I take them apart, replace any parts and give the phone a nice thorough clean with these. They leave a nice smell too!The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

The best way of cleaning any LCD monitor is to use a barely wet microfibre cloth.
Never use chemicals.
You can get these at any supermarket. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I've never used those moist LCD Screen wipes!
I've got an old "real chamois" leather cloth, I wipe the screen first with a damp cloth then use the chamois to dry the screen. That cleans up the screen a treat! It's soft so it will never scrape or scratch the screen and since it's natural leather it will not produce a static charge so it attracts less dust.Laters

Thanks very much for the replies you've saved me a lot of money! I'm going to try the damp cloths first, then I'm off to poundland

I use the smallest amount of fairy liquid on a damp dish cloth to fight the grease and then a damp cloth to wipe of the slight foam-age.
Then buff up with a clean duster.0 -

I agree if you can't find any piece of cotton cloth, a lint cloth will do. Make sure you’re not using a cotton/polyester blend that contains stiff filaments which can scratch.0
