Freeware Reccomendations

Ok so my old laptop had a fingerprint reader and accompanying software that meant it remembered every password and username i used for everything, including several for the same web page (facebook). Now, im getting a new laptop without one, and i know from when i use other computers its a huge annoyance for me when ive gone so long without having to type a single letter to get into a website.

Now my real question is does anyone know some tried and tested FREEWARE (yes im cheap) that they have used or know of and/or are safe ie no viruses etc that remembers passwords, user names would be appreciated too and having them ready in putted is even better. I know web browsers offer to remember them but i want a single program to do it for me for pretty much everything.

Oh yeh it has to work with google chrome! i had a scope around but found nothing

Also i thought that on the subject it would be a good idea for people to share freeware that they like with other users, more of the less common stuff, not like picasa spotify etc which we all know off.

Thanks to all posters in advance!

thanks again but had a look, it simply shows you what chrome saves rather than storing it itself

besides it doesnt input the data either, its just if you forget a password you have used before.

yeh i know, thats my issue, i mean the old software i had wasnt intended for chrome but i found 3rd party software that fixed it. i would download it again as aside from the fingerprint thing it also recognised a master password so i thought that setting tis as blank meant i could just hit enter and viola, but the company has decided to ceased distribution for this software and i cant find it anywhere.
