Redundant from part time job can I claim JSA?

I have just been told that I and about 25 other employees are at 'risk of redundancy' i only work two days per week from 9 - 5.30 and have an hour for lunch (unpaid). Someone has told me that as I only work 15 hours per week I am not entitled to claim JSA even though I have been paying NI for the last five years? is that right?

My husband worked 3o hrs and has just taken voluntary redundancy he will be paid his 3 month notice but cannot claim JSA until his 3 months are up ,same if he were being made redundant.
We have found Citizens advice to be really helpful, but i don't see why you shouldn't be entitled to JSA.
"Anyone" being made redundant are entitled to JSA.0 -
