Tiles: marble/porcelain/natural stone - where to buy cheaply?

Can anyone recommend a cheap tile stockist/supplier for granite/porcelain/natural stone wall and floor tiles please? We have 2 bathrooms and a cloakroom in our house that we plan to refit plus a shower room in another property. That's a lot of tiles! Would consider buying online but otherwise I'd be looking for a stockist within reach of Croydon, Surrey. If anyone has shopped around recently for nice quality tiles and would be kind enough to pass on the benefit of their research, I would be more than grateful.
As an aside, we are still looking for someone to actually do the work (all four jobs) so any recommendations for trustworthy, competent, reasonably priced plumbers/bathroom fitters welcome.
Thanks.

Hi there Pinksprout :j
I have heard that Topps Tiles are a good choice - do a search on Google for their web address as I don't know it off the top of my head.
If you are looking for a good price for quality natural stone tiles, then PM exactly what you are looking for and I am sure I can help out further.
Ciao for now! :beer:Granite Worktops are great for your Kitchen!0 -
Ooh marble mosaics in Plumpton green, sussex. 01273 891144
They have loads of various stone tiles and they were incredibly cheap for the first grade stones they supply.
I was recommended to these guys through Polar Stone who also done my worktops.
I was just about to recommend them!
Thats where i bought the Travertine for my bathroom and i'll be getting the Slate for my kitchen from there too.
They also sell on Ebay, which is where i found them.0 -
Thank you all for the suggestions. I have been to Topps tiles but was hoping for somewhere cheaper! Marblemosaics seem well priced so I shall definitely look through their website in close detail. Any other suggestions welcome. :T0
