Insecure site insurance application forms

I had a look at the forms you fill in to get a life insurance quote on both
cavendishonline.co.uk
and
moneyworld.org
In these forms, you have toenter a number of personal details (name, DOB, address, phone numbers) and yet the data you fill in appears to be sent insecurely (no encryption).
I decided not to use these sites to get a quote because of this.
I feel life insurance brokers should handle our personal data more carefully than this. What do other people think?
