What a company 1st Quote/Hero Insurance is turning out to be!

I arrived home yesterday evening to find a letter saying that my Car Insurance 'WILL BE CANCELLED' before the end of May 2009.

The letter did not say 'WHY' the insurance will be cancelled.

So, I persuaded myself reluctantly to ring their 'Brentwood' office.

I wasn't surprised when a 'Telephone Bod' answered the call, And to be honest did not use their initiative to explain the reasons 'WHY' but basically said there was a problem with my DD?

I have an Online Account, So I was not aware of any DD problems?

Not a 'Brilliant response from a brilliant company to put it in 1!

I actually got better service with 'Aviva' when ringing their India call centre.

I was going to cancel earlier in the year, But they said that I would have to be charged 35.00 to cancel my car insurance - 'What'!!

To be honest I don't know whether to just tell them to cancel the car insurance alltogether!

This company really does not give a 'Monkey's Sh*ite about their customers.

I mean how hard would it have been to 'Say in the letter'

We are sorry to inform you......etc

Instead of telling me - the customer that my car insurance 'WILL' be cancelled.

There are better words to use when writing to customers.

But what does it matter to them?

And the other annoying thing is that when 1st Quote sends you a letter they always send you '3' of the same letters.

One week I received about 9 letters, It just seems a waste to me.

I had to send 6 of the letters back to them!

No other company I have ever dealt with sends you 2 duplicate letters.

I don't know if anybody else agrees with what I have said, But I am seriously thinking about kicking them into touch!!
