parcel couriers and brown wrapping paper!

I shall be completing my first sales on ebay on Sunday - one parcel is 10kg and the other is 11.1kg. I've done a search through past posts and I get the impression that Staples are the best and also very cheap so I'll probably use them unless anyone would like to advise to the contrary. Do you have to telephone Staples in advance and ask them if it is OK or do you just turn up?

The other thing is - where can you buy rolls of brown paper for big packages from cheaply?

Thanks very much.

Hi, I find Staples for bulk buys of packing is best, unless you can find a good Car Boot Fair locally. You started big 10k and 11.1k for your first eBay sales, most people start with postcards, books and magazines.

I don't use brown wrapping paper for large items- you can get rolls of wallpaper lining paper from Wilkinsons for 99p.
Just because you used to be you think everybody else is, don't you?

I just use a bin liner! (For boxed goods)

    Never had a problem yet.

I think you get about 27 for £1 at Poundworld ('Heavy Duty') ones
  • I use bin liners also on large items.
  • me too, no complaints?
