How did you get London eye so cheap? I priced a flight up for in October and it was around the £100 for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Hi i used this site as have used them last time we went up there and were very good:

    http://www.londontown.com/attractionstickets/

but intend on changing that now as someone very kindly from work is giving up a 2 for1 ticket so will only have to pay for me or dh and dd working out now at around £26ish..although i have just spotted on that site it says 'from' so not sure if that differs much and why..

Oh and if you fancy the theatre then you should check out the tkts booths (there is one on leicester square, but it isn't the only one) you can often get good late deals especially on matinees.

Last year I got tickets for "The Original London Sightseeing Tour". Really excellent value via Tesco Clubcard as for 24 hours there's a couple of bus tour hop-on-hop-off routes & it includes a river cruise pass (& walking tours which we didn't use). Get it half way through the day so you can rest in the middle of your 24hr ticket! We made it down to Greenwich with the cruise.
I think £24 each adult full price, so £6 each with Clubcard!

You can always get tickets on the day, but not always for the specific show you want to see. Matinees have better availability than evenings on weekends.

If theres a particular show you want worth checking if they do dayseats and queuing (EARLY!)on the day.

Days out.co.uk loads of 2 for 1 deals.
  • Tate Modern is free and always great. If nothing else, the building is spectacular and there's always something wort seeing in the cavernous Turbine Hall.
