I was watching North West Tonight last night and they were in MAnchester with the spring markets and it just made me think oooooo its only 6 months on the 17th of may till the christmas markets come!!!!!!!!
I had a brilliant idea yesterday for what I can give my youngest nephew for Christmas this year. I am going to make him plastecine (sp?) My mum was making it for the kids in her class at school yesterday and made a ton of the stuff in ten minutes. So easy to do and just made with flour, salt, bicarb of soda, and a little veg oil then just use food colouring for your colour. I am going to keep an eye out for cheap cookie cutters so he can use them with the plastecine0 -
Hello
Hi, stumbled across this thread while looking under 'New Posts'. Sorry to hear the OP is poorly, hope she feels better soon. Also just to say thanks for the ideas I've read on here so far. I try not to worry about thread organisation etc and think if it helps then it's ok. :A
A gift idea
So whilst posting, here's an idea for the shoebox / giftbox I was reading about. There are lots of free seeds offers on this site, why not create a mini gardening box packed with free seeds and other garden type things (like gloves, perhaps hand cream) and such like. Walks off to think mmm, I'll get cracking with that!Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Well off to a good start this morning...bought a usb flexi lamp as a christmas present FOR FREE! woop woop... (anyone want one then it's on grabitnow.com) then hubby came in and told me he ordered one at midnight (he's on night shift) doh so we're gonna have two - but i'll use the other for my dad's anniversary basket, he likes gadgets like that so it's all good.....
I think I need to get cracking with some craft items, I have a list of things I want to make but when I sit down to do them, I just can't think where to start and end up leaving it... Think I may start with making my own christmas cards, I got some lovely christmas papers etc from a huge bumper set I bought on ebay in March... ooo getting excited now
How is everyone else getting on with things??
Thinking I really need to get my flat in order now, we've just moved into the back room, so I have a nice big spare room, going to gut all the rooms either this weekend (hubby has a week off hehe) or next week, ready to store prezzies, and so that I can actually enjoy some crafting without the constant pang of guilt for not doing any housework...eek
hope everyone is well...

Thank you everyone for your love and support. I can't believe the amount of people that have come from out of the darkness to post, it means a lot to me.
I was lay in my bed so sore (they couldn't get the drip in,I have rubbish veins) and I missed my kids. MSN'ing my husband from a mobile phone with my hand hidden in the side cupboard so I didn't get told off. When the next nurse came on shift she was lovely and asked if there was someone who wanted to come get me at the crazy time of 10pm :rotfl:I've never packed so fast.
I've learnt a lot of lessons this week and from now on I will live my life to the full for the happiness of my family, myself and my true friends. I spend my whole life doing good for others and if they can not accept me for everything I am in my hardest times then I have got to accept I am better than that and move on.
My husband likes to get things sorted and finished with and I have put him through so much in the past week that I can understand why he wanted to remove me from this. I have convinced him to let me stay but under a lot of terms from him that I won't be breaking lightly.
My hand feels as though someone has broken my index finger now so I shall stop typing and get on with some Christmassy things to post.
Thankyou for never giving up on me.
