eurostar - baggage restrictions

just weighing up wether to fly to paris and just wondering 1. is there a baggage allowance like the airlines 2. where does the luggage get stored on it and 3. can you take liquids etc on the train unlike the planes ( there was a lovely collectors snow globe that i wanted to get someone as a present last time at disney paris, however due to the restrictions couldnt buy as couldnt take it as hand luggage and didnt want to risk it in suitcase - good job i didnnt as well with the condition i got my suitcase back in!)
