Apologies if this has been mentioned before but thought this was worth sharing.

Lots of threads get bumped on this forum because people are finding that they can't access the particular website the competition is on or the website appears to be down.

This website might come in useful for times such as those:

http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

The clue's in the name, but basically it tells you whether it is the website that is down, or whether it is your computer or internet connection that is playing up.:D

Have been waiting for the 2010 thread so thought I would have a go myself:o If any of the regulars would rather do it, please let me know.
Otherwise could someone tell me how to 'stick' it to the top of the thread?

Anyone? Or shall I just delete the post, given that 35 people have looked at it and no one has replied I am taking it you would rather someone else organised it?:o

quite a few were swaying towards the idea of having a challenge where we try to win birthday/xmas pressies as the challenge, i would suggest the idea to one of the bg's first before starting the thread, then once you have posted it, they can then get it stickied, good luck xx

al, it has been mentioned and a thread was started but because they didnt ask a bg first, it got moved to the discussion thread

Do actually vaguely remember this now - I am happy to do this if everyone thinks it is a good idea (as I haven't really got anything else to offer:rotfl:)
If I can offer my own opinion, I think we should stick to 'winning Christmas' - it's not a moving target, as it were

I have checked the T&Cs section of their website, and under the section for competitions it says:
A list of winners' names is available on written request from Cond! Net Ltd, Vogue House, Hanover Square, London W1S 1JU.

Hope this helps....
