Just when I finally decided to do my weekly catch up as well :D
i had trouble with it when posting the last comp & last night it was taking ages to load, as wingobins says, it's usually due to the high traffic, have just checked it & it's still taking ages to loadplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
There's no sign of it at all jellie75, even clicking to look through all your posts.
Was it the cheese one? I noticed one which required a purchase earlier (I've just done my weekly shop and would have bought some with a code if I'd seen it earlier!) and I can't find it now...
HTHThanks Melli,
Yes it was that one! But I thought it was ok as it was similar to the pepsi /magnum/ bonkers about biscuits promotions requiring a purchase for a code. thanks for replying x
any chance of posting a link to the comp in this thread ?0 -
It's OK I've found it now!

Think that any comp that is pulled because of the £1.50 rule should be discussed here and a link to the comp should be posted so that we can have a look at the comp and discuss it!
as the comps are not actually being posted and are just being discussed I don't think that it can be classed as breaking mse rules as we are only doing what this this thread is intended for competition discussion0 -
[STRIKE]
Speaking of comps that are pulled, I am sure I saw a comp yesterday with Game.co.uk that they were running a comp where if they chose you, you would get your order for £5, and there was also a NPN/postal route - trouble is now I'll be blown if I can find it!!!
Anyone able to shed any light? Have searched and searched the Game.co.uk site, but it is sooo slooowwwww:rolleyes:. Anyway off to have another gander:rotfl:.

Well I for one will be buying some Colliers cheese this weekend and I thank jellie75 for posting the comp and giving me the heads up about the comp which has some great prizes to be won
I can't understand why the comp was pulled really as it's a commodity that most mse'rs buy nearly every week,
and so here we are again in discussion about the £1.50 rule and why some comps are allowed to breach the rule and others are pulled almost immediately
we are all responsible adults on mse and we should be allowed to use our own common sense with the purchase required comps
it would be nice to see them within there own thread with the rrp of each item in the title,
it would also very useful when doing the weekly shop just to be able to glance down a purchase necessary thread and see which items needed to be substituted and which items we would like to buy as a luxury purchase
I think that it is high time that the £1.50 rule was revised, maybe even scrapped as really you can't buy much for 150 pennies these day's
Oh well rant over must do some comps
P'S I will send a PM to mse Andrea to have a look at this thread

I agree Amilucky? There is a Freebies (Low Spend) board, why not a Competitions one?
I would have more time for the ruling if it was maintained across all the competitions, but it isn't... I know there is a theoretical £1.50 maximum, but it isn't clear-cut and, therefore, a Low Spend board would give the flexibility for us to make our own decisions.
In this particular case we would just need to change our brand of cheese to obtain the one code to enter the competition at a total cost of £2 from Tesco (or around £3 from the other supermarkets). Not like, for example, the person who spent around £100 on Pepsi trying to win a 'phone (I'm not knocking them, btw, that's their personal choice, just stating the cost comparison).0 -
Thank you everyone for your comments, I was beginning to wonder if it had been removed because i was a newbie! Just seems a shame, as I don't know many people who wouldn't like the main prizes( not sure if I can say what it is!) Anyway, good luck to you all x0
