If you get everything done, he may let you out the office again:rotfl:

    Here's hoping!! :p
Worked from home loads last year after I got signed off work (return to work thing) but my new boss isn't really a fan... just need to prove it works for me and my work and while I doubt it'll ever become a regular thing it will be possible when I need it. ;)
Life is all about the journey.

    Hugs to Essexgal's DD.

Best of luck Chezas...All of this will be so worth it when you get to meet your baby.

Wokkies, someone I know had a membrane sweep and she said the nurse just used her finger; no instruments...
thats all she used with me for the sweep, but the induction is some pessarie things they shove up:ooh and told me to bounce on that big bouncy ball thing they have in the room:rolleyes:

Essexgirl what happened to your dd? I will have a look a few pages back, sending her big hugs but not too tight and squeezy incase it hurts.

Decided to trip on uneven bit of gravelly carpark whilst running............not a good idea:o - so mahooosive bump on forehead (usually gets them by running/walking into doors.... - best one was after telling orthodontist how she broke a tooth - then she walked into door leaving room......:o) arm in sling because her wrist hurts, slightly cut lip and badly grazed face....

just grateful she didn't a) break a bone (done that before - at school) or b) break a tooth (yes, had that done too - although that one wasn't her fault - again, at school).

She seems okay in herself today fortunately, sling and plaster should be gone by tomorrow.....she's gone back upstairs to read books in bed with DD1.

Chezas - good luck for sweep!

Yes, that happens when you're induced....at least the pessary. Never heard of anyone being asked to bounce on the ball; it was meant to be to bend over it when you're in labour and down on all fours.

The pessary contains chemicals, that the man can supply, if you see what I mean ;)

Hugs to your DD! You probably know, but one of the HMS things is poor spacial awareness - you often don't know where your limbs are without looking (I know that sounds ridiculous) I think your DD will have to prepare for a lifetime of banging into doors etc - I'm permanently bruised  The worst thing for me is I often leap out of bed screaming cos I think I can feel a big spider on me, and it's my hand touching my leg, when I thought my arm and hand were nowhere near my leg itms

Thanks for all the birthday wishes people :j:j
