I had a sweep then a week later had to be induced:o with little woks, it was only after the second thing they shove up you to induce you and i decided to go for a walk around the hospital or rather mr woks took me walking round the whole of the hospital building twice till I literally crawled back to the maternity ward in heavy labour and he popped out a few minutes later:D Good luck hope the sweep sets you off:j
Essexgirl what happened to your dd? I will have a look a few pages back, sending her big hugs but not too tight and squeezy incase it hurts.
did you decide to get dressed then Splodz?, meant to be getting dressed so can go food shopping soon mr woks took kids to post office to get gas etc and they think I am going to be dressed when they get back:rolleyes:

Yep, I'm dressed... jeans and a tshirt for work! :) Now have cuppa in my fav massive disney mug and a bowl of strawberries for breakfast (really trying to be good). Getting lots of work done too which is a bonus!!!

The Midwife did mention last week that she thinks it'll be this Sunday i'll get taken in for induction if this sweep doesn't work so i don't really have that long to wait either way. Getting nervous. OH says he'll miss "the bump" as he's got used to cuddling into the moving bump at nights.Lol!! Plus it provides extra warmth for him. I'm just a huge hot water bottle! Lmao!!

Wokkies, someone I know had a membrane sweep and she said the nurse just used her finger; no instruments...

if you have a date for the induction, you may be able to request a private room, I didnt pay for mine, my sister paid £15, you tend to get more sleep than on the ward
