    Evening all. :hello:

    Congratulations RCB!

Gorgeous dog Barnabysue, hope you'll be very happy together. :D

I'm after some advice :o - if your hubby had 6 points on their license (3 of which run out in August) and just got another 3, would you:

    - let him take them himself, causing a further £20 penalty in his insurance and risking a ban if he gets caught again in the next 3 months?
    - add them on your clean license?

SP30's? my DH had 6 until recently too the last 3 go in June, he's named on my insurance and it made that more expensive too. I would let him tke them himself TJ as it's a sliding scale of extra cost on the insurance to as each fine gets older the penalty is cheaper and if you are both on the same policy it wont make any difference and could infact cost even more if you take the points, I'm not making it very clear but hope it helps. As for getting that final 3 I bet he doesn't, my hubby is so careful now esp in 30's as most of the camera on the Island are patrol car ones and they can be hiding anywhere
That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free ;)

This latest one is SP30 (doing 38), the previous one was SP50 (not sure what speed he was doing but it was in the early hours on a motorway with temporary 50mph due to roadworks) and the first one was SP70? (doing 82 on a 70mph dual carriageway).

He's such a bloody 'middle age man driver' - ambles along in his own merry way with a dire lack of observation and anticipation (yet expects everyone else to anticipate his actions!) and it's always the other drivers fault! :rolleyes2  :wall:

Evening everyone. How has your afternoon been? My event went well but was boring as hell! At least I'm home now.

And I got a WTC!!! :):):) It's from this one here - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=21724391#post21724391 - PP I think this is the same as you (only read back really quickly, sorry)? We get a seedling and some cordial. The lady said we'd have it within 28 days but probably sooner. Yay! :):):)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Why would you need to see cars parked on grass though, you're supposed to be driving on the road, not the grass! :p :rotfl:

Well done to all the winners today. :T

TJ if it was me if OH 'earned' the points then they would be firmly on his licence. I would not take them for him and don't think I would expect anyone to take mine if it was the other way around.

I don't get this embarrassing bodies programme - the people obviously aren't that embarrassed as surely if they were they wouldn't go on t.v. with their problems

Apparently this is a crab apple - the Robinson's prize. My maple is doing quite well from the one I won in October time (must give that a bigger pot), hope I can keep this one alive too!

Oh, I see what you mean now, :o I thought you were confessing to crashing into a car that was parked up on the grass! :o :rotfl:

Thanks for the advice everyone, looks like hubby's going to have to be very careful of that heavy foot in future then. :D
