    Just back into comping past few months to help me get over rubbish in life.... won Hotpoint fridge freezer, soda stream

    just tried to make a soup and it tasted disgusting so i've thrown it away :( Made another one now which is half done and really hope this ends up better! Sometimes I think I should just stick to what I know.. Even worse is that the bf has decided that he's going to start eating meat (currently veggie) and after living together for years I rarely eat any now so I'm going to have to learn to cook that too now :rolleyes:

    Dont worry we all make mistakes but try not stick to a recipe to much just put in water stock cubes veg etc and judge it what way:T ( check jamie oliver sfh out lol )

    thanks :) I'm ok at cooking a lot of things just recently everything I make has gone wrong somehow! Just had a taste of this soup and it tastes good so it's made me feel a bit happier now. Bf's birthday tomorrow though so at least I won't have to cook :o

    I try and do that minimum every day - most days I hit 90... :o
    but with my leg still screwed up, I don't want to push it so have been taking it easy still..

    if he wants to eat meat, how about suggesting he cooks first, see what he does with it? :cool:

    BMN - you do well making your own soup, used to do it years ago but got lazy now, i'm ashamed to say i just go to shops & buy the ready made ones :eek:
