How long does mince take to defrost? I forgot to take it out last night to make spag bol for tea, if I take it out now can I use it about 5pm please? Thanks xx

You should be OK and if it's beef mince you can use that from frozen anyway

I've just put the radio on.....what's absolute giving away? just asking as I caught him saying you need to listen for 'born in the usa'

Thanks Kim, yeah it's beef mince bought it fresh last week but froze some of it.

It'll be fine then, just give it a few extra mins when you're browning it to make sure it's all thawed and browned, as long as it all cooks you'll have no problems with it, if I forget to defrost something we always end up with something involving mince as there's so much you can do with it and it cooks well (and safely) from frozen

The kids love spag bol, my 9 year old especially because she can help a lot with it just need to have a route through the fridge see what I can chuck in it LOL

I saw that T, I assumed it was someone from the other board you are using at the moment hun
