    That is really annoying Sylphraven!!

What happens if you list something in the wrong area??? Ie you list the belt under clothes not accessories are you able to that??? Sorry if that's a silly suggestion just trying to think of ways around it.

I must get selling on ebay will get a pile of stuff out to photo me thinks!!

Got my £10 voucher from valued opinions but not had anything from Pigsback are they normally really slow??

 they kept that really quiet. Fortunately I don't have anything to sell in that category although was thinking about listing my bags on there.

So if I sold a belt for 99p my seller would pay me 99p less paypal fees about 24 p eBay would charge me 10p and I'd then pay say £1.62 to post it - net loss £2.51 - what a great idea

If I list it for £2.00 to cover my postage eBay charge me 15p to list plus 20p if it sells
paypal charges me 34p then pay 1.62 to post - net loss 31p

Therefore to make my original 99p I need to list it for about £3 . And realistically who's going to pay that?????

Don't think I'll bother in future - my charity shop will be getting busy :D

I put some gold charms on Ebay for 29.99, and I have a bid now so well pleased about that. The local shop was selling them for a fiver each (secondhand charms) so dont think I would have got much for them in there. There are 5 of them but one is a bit naff lol. Put a blouse on there yesterday that I tried on and it got stuck and couldnt get it off without help and have 3 people watching that. Got a bid on one of my cardmaking sets too so quite pleased with myself.

Forgot to add, received the £21 from cashback chief this morning, have managed to claim the money from student moneyback, thought it was £25 to come but they have stopped £5 as admin fee, still its all free money. So now I am waiting on this £20, plus £20 from cashback cascade and £10 from cashinco. Add that to my ebay due this month and makes nice sum of £83.50 to come. Also received £6 high st vouchers for a survey I did a while ago (which I spent in Wilkinsons lol).

today I am fuming!!!! Its as if the whole world doesnt want us to make money. Ebay has decided that you HAVE to offer free p&p when selling in these areas:-

I was planning on listing a few items of clothing with a start price of 0.99p each week, this includes belts, etc. If they dont sell, oh well, I dont get charged. Now I have to put the postage costs into the price, on average this costs about £1.50p per item so even if it doesnt sell I'll be charged, its ridiculas!!!

That is absolutely dusguisting, people arent going to want to pay those prices, there not going to take into account the fact that postage has to come from somewhere.

Typical of ebay- listings 99p or less free - they then increase their share of the final fee, now try to make more money out of us, its a con

The ebay thing is just stupid! That means that basically everyone's going to put their costs up and being able to buy things from ebay will be more expensive so people wont buy from there so much!

I agree with that freebie - maybe thier 99p list for free was just too popular so they weren't making hardly any money out of us - although I don't see it myself they've made a bit out of me the last few weeks .

On that note - I've made nearly £50 this month from various sources and have another eBayer who's slow to pay for a stab vest (don't ask :rotfl:)
