Blimey what a cafuffle!! Glad you got it sorted eventually, wasnt very professional was it
yeah not good about tesco, used to save me lots of money a month for my mortgage fund but alas couldnt go on forever with more and more people doing it. Was good while it lasted. Nice to be able to shop around now though.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987
EMFD was Feb 32  NOW Dec 2013 its Dec 2016
MF new target Dec 16 REACHED!! :j0 -
Agree about Tesco, it made a difference to us, we put the money up, last yr paid for xmas lunch out, and helped out with presents, having tv, freeview etc set up, this yr it paid for the helicopter trip, (recommend to everyone its amazing), and has gone 2wards dd swimming, + ballet.
The thing is, their saying oh its Tescos, but its been going on for years, I worked when it was Safeway 1996-2000, and they accepted coupons without the product.
Think what killed it, was the internet, and people abusing it, if everyone had played fair, we'd of all been ok.
Hopefully their find a loophole and use them again, we can dream. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
well done everyone. what a mess mum2one!!banks and any institutions are a nightmare in my opinion this week!!
Well I have got truly loads and loads to eBay and bootsale for some much needed pennies. Going to be a tight one this year as 80% of our money gets spent on the house at the moment but will be worth it in the end!
:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

Hello everyone
I've not been keeping track specifically since the start of September, but I'm at £427.06 Quidco, £20 redeemed Amazon vouchers, halfway towards another £20, and 1812 Pigsback points (aiming for 1900 for a CD by Christmas).
I've probably spent about this much already on Christmas presents because I've been on maternity leave and sitting at home with nothing to do but search for astonishing bargains - but on the plus side I've overbought so horrendously that probably all of next year will be covered too :rotfl:
This evening I'm mostly going to be rating reviews on Dooyoo - somehow I've got behind and have been rated 70 more times than I've rated. I intend to fix this and write a few more reviews today (on top of the 7 I've already written).Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0 -
counted the change collection today - and banked £40 in £1 and £2!
Money I would otherwise have frittered away!
Christmas fund now £70 cash, £75 M&S vouchers and £75 Argos vouchers.
Am close to another £10 on Lightspeed and Valued Opinions....and have a phone to send to Mazuma!
i'm, getting there!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
made another £16 on ebay and have a couple more bits to go on today, counted up my jar its only at £25 which isnt as bad as i thought as i have been so broke past few weeks i had to take out the pound coins and 50ps really didnt want to do it but i am going to try my best not to dip into it anymore and build it up a bit more. were all doing really well, can someone tell me when the challenge ends?0
