We were sat watching House last night with the Christmas cake cooling in the kitchen and he suddenly made a comment about sorting Christmas early this year!

Managed to get my mum £30 of vouchers from Argos yesterday on there offer, Grandma bought DS1 his camcoder (she spoils the kids rotten but one less pressie I need to find the money for) and she bought herself a printer we had to spilt the 2 so we got 2 lots of voucher but everyone else was doing it too. Nearly got enough to redeem another 2 £5 amazon vouchers so they will go towards more pressies.

grrr!!!
i was about three quarters of the way through a lightspeed survey when the page had no continue button on - and it would have taken me to the next payout level.GRRRRRR!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Get in touch with them Cyclingyorkie, I had this happen with a LONG toluna survey yesteday & sent them an email explaining what had happened. Received one back today saying they have passed my error onto the right people and I will definately get my points in about 4 weeks time. This is great news as I've been working hard over the past week to try & get from 50000 to 60000 and this will definately take me over that, even if I dont do anything.
I have also made £40 on ebay, though its all gone straight back out to buy scents for the bath goodies & candles I want to have a go at making for pressies. You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -
Sold a birthday card today for £5 but not done much more getting there slowly thoughOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Received £10 Amazon vouchers from Lightspeed today so have been on Amazon and added them to my account, ordered some dvds for OH, 48 hrs, Another 48hrs, Road to Perdition and two box sets of Arnold Swarzenegger and it was adding up to nearly the amount I had on there in vouchers (£13), went through checkout and it came up and said payment was only £9.97 so used the vouchers and still have £3 towards next ones.
Well happy with that lot for under a tenner.
Have been having a sneaky look at how my daughters fav bag is made as I am thinking of making one out of the rest of my fabrics I have left over. Have made up a pattern on sorts in my notebook.
Received one of the iron on Twilight transfers this morning. She is going out in a bit so might have a go at ironing it on to the white fabric and cutting out the cushion pieces and see if I got enough over for the bag too.0 -
Made another £5.00 from last bit of supermarket vouchers, but alas the great Tesco you can redeem the money off vouchers without buying the goods has been stopped.
Had a free £25.00 goodwill gesture from LLoydsTSB, nipped into town with dad, went to cashpoint - went through the saga £20 cash, returned the card no money, luckly dad was with me, went in the branch, they didn't want to know as it was my Hlaifax account, me being me - said theres no sign to say LloydsTSB customers only!!, was bit worried, with card cloning and at all that, the woman said it could be the cash draw, might be because its got a note jammed I'll check, you need to check ur bank, I couldn't walk across, was in agony with back, so rang the Halifax, they checked the account, no money had gone out, but the risk is as my card gone in + pin, strong chance of card being cloned. Could either put a hold on card for 28 days, no transactions be allowed, as debit, but could be used for cheques, or cancel the card, and wait 7 -10 days replacement, + new pin. we decided that way, safer, but if I needed money would have to bring in 2 forms of ID + max £50 quid a day.
Left stranded in LLoydsTSB, as the woman had told me to wait well she sorted it, after asking 3 times still waiting, asked to sit down, they told me to sit at the desk - while a customer was discussing her account with another staff member, quickly pointed out, there was no way I would want a complete stranger sat by me, while discussing my account......
Found the original member of staff, 45 mins later, she'd gone 4 a break and 4got about me, and she hadn't even been + checked the machine, what made it worse, was there was 2 strips flapping by the where u put the card. In the end demanded the branch manager, he then went and checked the machine and said don't worry about the flapping bit, we took a bit off........ why the heck didn't they tell me that nearly an hr ago, we'd wasted an hr, cancelled a card, panic in case my card could be cloned, all for nought. So he gave me £25 as a goodwill gesture, and give him his due he rang the Halifax and overrode the ID system.
So thats going in xmas fund -xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
