I've just been reading your circumstances from start to finish.. what a journey! How is life treating you after bankruptcy??

My husband and I have very large debts - life is so difficult - we spend so long worrying about them rather than living! We are considering br, just wondering if we can take the scary step into it!

Hope life is treating you well!

The courts clerk will check your paperwork over the day you go BR just incase of any mistakes

(some sample forms filled in to look at here )

i'm still unsure what to put in the reason box, why am i filing for br?
some people have said that i should keep it short and sweet, and some say i should go into detail, who do i listen to?

i posted what i was going to put, but others said i should cut this and cut that. i got confused. they said i shouldn't put certain things in. the reason im in this mess is down to bad judgement and job situations. i had every intention to repay but circumstances went other ways.
i guess im just scared that i'll get in a tiss at having to explain why im in the mess that im in, and that they will reject the br. would they do this?

Chunky can you link to your reasons thread please.

The only thing I will say is this is down ti personal choice. Short and sweet so you don't drop yourself in it or detailed so that you have a lot of the relevant info there and the OR can read it and see where it all went wrong and maybe won't question you so much in the interview or even not bother because he has much of the info needed.

You have to weigh up what suits you best. I am of the dates and amounts persuasion my self.
