Mine was like that too!! even after applying a few coats it still didn't look like I had much on at all....

im so glad I didnt waste my money and buy 2 mags and im not the only one who thinks its not a good mascara!
I also get really bad panda eyes with it to. to be honest I wouldn't buy it full price, i'll just stick to what I usually use but I guess it was worth paying £2 for the mag to try it rather than full price.
Its just so dry and clumpy like its old.
