Hope some of you can help (have tried looking thro prev threads, but there are endless answers!!).
I want to know if it is possible to change any settings so that when I play back music on my ipod, it all plays back at the same volume. Some songs seem alot quieter than others!!!
Also are there any specific settings i must alter to optimize the songs as i download them onto my ipod?? I understand that its better to download straight off a cd rather than from saved albums in windows media player...
Any other tips would be great.
Thanks

Turn Sound Check on in iTunes:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2425?viewlocale=en_US
(its in the Playback tab of the Preferences)
and then turn it on in your iPod (should be in its settings somewhere)0 -
Hi, yes select Sound Check under Settings0

Thanks guys!!! Another question, what is sound enhancer?? Worth me using?? Also, what is your fav EQ setting???:silenced:0

Apple says "Sound Enhancer is an Apple-developed digital sound processing technology introduced in iTunes 2 that adds additional life and richness to audio playback, improving the listening experience with headphones and with external speakers."
I don't use it or EQ.
It's personal choice really; use whatever you think sounds best.0
