Hi guys,
I made a claim at the beginning of April for money back on a PPI insurance I had with a loan in 2004. I have so far recieved two letters from my bank aplogising for the delay. Are they trying to stall me, and how long does it take to claim PPI back?
Thanks
Jason C

You have to give them 8 weeks for a full and final response to it and even then it could be that they do not uphold the complaint and it has to go to the Ombudsman if you want to go this route.Jason_Chapman wrote: »Hi guys,

Sometimes as well even after 8 weeks are up they write to ask for more time but you then have the option of either waiting or going to the Ombudsman without a final response.0 -
Hi Jason, if it helps, the delays are caused because of the number of complaints they are receiving and because they will need to trace all the documentation and evidence they can from the sale of your policy before they can make a decision. I don't think they would just try and stall you....they have to try and get it out before the 8 weeks because of internal targets and regulations anyway.0
