Hotel/Apartment suggestions in Majorca in mid June

We are a couple, looking for a decent hotel or apartment near to Spanish restaurants, we are not into fast food and we don't want to be entertained by the pool. We have flights and a hire car booked and we prefer to walk out to eat each evening but not too far;) any ideas????

We like Pt.Alcudia, it is a slighlty more upmarket area, and has a nice selection of restaurants. It is about a 15min stroll (along the beach - if you want to) to the more lively part of Alcudia. HTH's.

Soller and Puerto Soller are gorgeous. About half hour drive from Palma. Delightful traditional area, beautiful scenery and lovely to wander around in the evening too. No tat shops either!
Can't specifically recommend hotels, but bit of research on Trip Advisor will help! Also quite a lot of lovely accomodation on Owners Direct.

try googling 'pine walk puerto pollensa' and you will see lovely apartments and hotels which are only separated from the sea by a pedestrian walkway which is lined with restaurants.
