How do I setup my SpeedTouch 780WL router?

Could someone please tell me how to setup my SpeedTouch 780WL to connect to internet via AOL.
I can get to the settings page ( http://192.168.1.254/ ) but cannot connect to the internet.

Have you entered your AOL username and password?
Is the Internet light on the router solid green, and the relevant Ethernet port light on?

This is the problem, I am not sure where to put my username and password

After logging into the settings page.

In the left menu, click SpeedTouch.

In the Pick a task list, click Set up.

The Easy Setup wizard will now guide you through the configuration of your SpeedTouch™.

Which one do I click in the easy setup settings dynamic ip 2/3 data ports? or static ip 2/3 data ports?

Most ISP's use dynamic IP's unless you pay more for a static IP.

I clicked Dynamic IP 2 Data ports
then "next" about 3 times but didnt ask for username

Forgot to mention i think this router was originally from Be*
Is it possible to use this with aol?

Probably not as it will have customised firmware for Be who are LLU only and probably using completely different settings to AOL with no option to change them.

Try searching google using Bebox as one of the terms to see if anybody has figured out how to install standard firmware ofr get in to amend the default setting.
