Just noticed this as its really cheap to toronto from newcastle which is ace for me 
NOTE: I don't really know how they afford to do prices this low in the current climate so it may be important to get insurance against cancelled flights. This is my opinion not based on fact

Whatever you do i would avoid Air Canada - had a catalog of problems with them when i flew to Vancouver and back last year!0

they tend to use cheaper flight companies and fill up the plane so can afford to do it (ie thomas cook or air transat planes etc rather than ba or air canada etc)
