Paid to make a claim

Hi, everyone just joined so dont be harsh!!
i claimed back my ppi via an online claims company... yes i know what you are all thinking idiot could have done it himself!
However i was having some financial problems at the time and needed the money quick and didnt trust my self to follow through doing all the letters (im unorganised)..... But the people i claimed with actually paid me £100 upfront for making the claim anyway and then i got my full claim back after 7months!
So in the end the £100 covered their charges but at the time it was nice to have a bit of cash to pay some bills!
Just wanted to share this with anyone who is in the same situation as me who needs cash! Although my 5k i got back was pretty nice!! If your interested the company was called Buymyclaims
Also does anyone know wat the deal is with bank charges when you can claim them back cos i have far too many of them?!
Thanks John:money:

I think the MOJ and the lenders will love that one. They will crawl all over it.
Also, You pay 25% of your compensation at the back end.
Why would you choose to receive £100 up front and then pay, say £1000 or more at the back end?I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.
However, I have since seen the light.0 -
Ah I see they are a trading name of I-Smart Consumer Services Ltd.
We had a bit of trouble with them issuing claims for customers who didn't even know they were claiming. They were using invalid letters of authority (such as ones for bank charges) to try and claim back PPI. The customer didn't know they were doing this and didn't even want to claim about PPI.
I-Smart were basically trying to claim in the hope that the organisation would make the payment to them and the customer wouldn't know a thing about it (the company I work for always pays the customer to stop this sort of thing happening).0
