Noisy graphics card fan

My PC has recently become noisy. I found that the noise was coming from the graphics card fan so I took it out cleaned it and put a drop of sewing machine oil on it and it quietened down for a few weeks but it has become noisy again. It is a Radeon X1600 PRO 256mb DDR2 V/VO/D. The fan wasn't quiet to start with but it is very annoying now. Any advice please on how to make it quieter or recommendations for an alternative quieter replacement graphics card would be appreciated, not too expensive and preferably without a fan.

Buy a fanless heat pipe heatsink for the card. PC World have them. Fifteen mins. work removing the old and fixing up the new one.

Thanks for replying, a fanless heatpipe seems a good option. I've had a look at the VNF100 but I think it will be too deep as I haven't much space in the case.
