Money Transfers Poland

Anybody got any advice on the cheapest and painless method of transferring money to Poland. Are there UK banks that have sister banks in Poland.
I am aiming to do this on a monthly basis. The only way I can see is to use something similiar to a Post Office Travel Card, but obviously there is the maths involved in paying in GBP , and or converting to EUR and telling the person how many PLN have been transferred.
The conversion is also a crucial issue. For example the best on the spot rate last week for PLN was 4.2 4.3. I transferred my money in Poland and got a rate of 4.66. Big enough difference to get a free train journey.
Any advice would be great!

mBank have a branch in London? News to me...If you can, go with them. I use them personally and they're fantastic and painless. PKO BP are one half of the former State bank - avoid if you can, but they could be a good bet for transferring money.
Avoid Deutsche Bank and HSBC, neither of those have any significant presence in Poland.
How much are you looking at transferring? For larger amounts, a specialist FX exchange company could make much more sense. From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.0
