Fight back against refusal to pay out on Chip & PIN fraud claims.
Victims of chip-and-PIN fraud who are unable to recover their money have been urged to consider legal action against their banks.
The FOS handles about 50 cases of disputed chip-and-PIN transactions every week.
“In many cases, the issue of ‘reasonable care’ of a PIN becomes the consumer’s word against the bank’s.

You're right - but there are examples in the media of victims of Credit Card and PIN fraud being hung out to dry.
As the article in the Times states, it can take a considerable amout of time for a PIN dispute to be resolved.
I warned about victms being treated as 'suspects quite a few years ago.
Chip and Signature (C&S) Cards do make sense if you don't want to chance falling foul of PIN based fraud and the hassel it can cause you. C&S cards also prevent card cloners hitting ATM's.0
