Well…..nothing so far today as its still the middle of the night… lol.
I do have to go to the dentist today....
so will probably pick up some bits and pieces – I will update this post later.
In the meantime…. I’ve seen the light at the end of the tunnel but it was only someone carrying a candle bringing me more work…. sob…
Late this evening.... well...I bought a really nice shirt, got some groceries... woe, woe and thrice woe... hee hee... oh...with the groceries... some really nice, ultra yummy choccy biccys and a ...oh gosh... how did that scrummy yummy, incredibly big Treacle Tart get into the shopping basket thingy..... hee hee.... :rotfl:

Work spends today: stamps, newspapers
Personal spends: £15 dentist's fine (wrote to them and got a grovelling letter apologising for their not having sent out an invoice, etc., so I decided to pay them)
Hopefully not much else, but I do need a book to read as have finished my latest one, so maybe £2.50 in Oxfam.
Am helping a friend with a garage sale today so hoping she'll let me have a few bits for free!:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Well, I'm feeling quite pleased with myself this week!
All I have spent is
£30 on petrol (and I need that to get to work)
£2 on lunch yesterday (was previously buying lunch every day!)
£1 on parking for a meeting (which will be refunded through expenses claim!)
considering I have a budget of £30 a week not including petrol, I think that's a pretty good result for my first official week of money saving. Drinks are on me! :beer: (Oh hang on, that might prove expensive - you're welcome to join me for a drink, but I'm afraid you'll have to buy your own!
)
Next step is to work out a proper SOA and post that up here at the weekend, so I can make the most of all your lovely, helpful, (free) advice!
Thanks all for making me welcome.

after a no-spend day yesterday, I have spent £20 this morning on 5 weeks worth of lottery tickets. Am going to spend £6 getting out of the car park this eve (this is really bad as I have a permit for a car park further away from work but got so caught up in the commonwealth games this morning I had to take the closer option - maybe I should move my car away at lunchtime?) my punishment for being a lazy bones is that I am now not allowing myself to go to the pub at lunch!Student moneysaving club - member no. 6Uni Reading0

I had a very late night last night, so have already spent £1.86 on breakfast. Will need to get something for lunch too, was too slow getting out of bed this morning, LOL. I'm off up to Glasgow tonight to visit a friend, so I imagine we'll be heading to the pub at some point. But this trip is budgeted for, so all good

Ms_London, the roller disco last night was awesome, so much fun! I picked it up really quickly, didn't fall too many times, it was such a laugh! It's a great night out - only quibble is that it got kind of busy about 10pm but there's plenty of places to sit down and rest so that's ok. The bar is expensive, £4 for a beer! But we were having so much fun skating, we actually didn't bother with drinks so it ended up being a cheap night out. Would really recommend it, we'll be going back!0
