Tesco Car Insurance - SDP & Commuting

I cant find out if they cover Commuting into work from home, i can see they do SD&P, but the rest im sure im missing it.

Will have to ring them tomorrow morning, but im off on holiday in the morning & the car cover runs out next friday.

Not really an issue, as the car is off the road (private driveway), but its nice to get it wrapped before we depart.

Have a look at your Certificate of Insurance, it will state what "Use" you are covered for

Note Social, Domestic & Pleasure plus Commuting normally covers private use and commuting to and from the same place of work (Not driving to other places in connection with your business)

Not bought the policy yet, will have to ring them on the way to the airport.

It will involve driving from my house, to a fixed place of work, unless im required to drive somewhere else. Then i remain there for up too 12hours, then drive back.

If you have to drive somewhere else then you will need whats called "Class One Business Use" or sometimes "Class A Business Use"

Your employer might pay the difference between SDP & Commuting and the class one business use (Its normally between 5% and 10% extra although some Insurers include it free)
